Our Story
Massachusetts Scholars With A Goal (MASWAG) is a youth organization that aims to empower scholars and students from disadvantaged communities in Massachusetts. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and violence. MASWAG provides career exploration and higher education opportunities to help students achieve their goals. Our programs include mentoring, tutoring, college application assistance, and more.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help facilitate the journey of career exploration, and higher education curiosity of scholars and in particular the disadvantaged communities where anti-social, gang-related activity, poverty, and extremism is experienced. We believe that every scholar should have exposure to career paths and higher education institutions, regardless of their background or financial situation.
